switching cipher to none after authentification when data needs no encryption

Our sshd server daemons have the HPN feature

 http://www.psc.edu/networking/projects/hpn-ssh/hpnreadme.php

that allows NoneSwitch (switch cipher to none after authentification).

They do not allow the none cipher end to end for security reasons.

Is there a way to use of this feature (NoneSwitch) with libssh2.

Am i missing something in the API that would allow to negotiate turning
off the encrytion after authentification (the cipher seems to be the
speed limit) ?

I am very new to libssh2.
