I just figured that out, but I guess I'm going to have to install
automake on this box to turn the .am into a .in file. I don't have admin
privileges on this dev server, but I can try this on another computer.
Too bad autotools is so incomprehensible that one can't just edit the
Makefile itself. Thanks for the help; I'll let you know...
