CVS is "updated" whenever a committer commits the changes. Unfortunately we're
greatly underpowered in this project so there aren't many commits these days.

I've not been able to test the patch mentioned above and nobody has reminded
us about it so it's been left to bitrot.

It would also help if you could indeed verify that the particular patch fixes
your problem...
