[libssh2] Status of PHP extension

Hi all,

I am not really sure if http://pecl.php.net/package/ssh2 is anyway
related to you but at least Sara seems to be part of both projects.

The PHP extension for libssh2 does not compile with recent versions of
libssh2. The last release is from 2005 which looks unmaintained.

Does anybody know the status of this extension? Are there any new
releases planned to get it running again?
